Whenever you experience an issue on the platform, it is helpful for the support team if you could provide a screen recording of what you see happening.
Here are the instructions for taking a screen recording on iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac:
📱 iOS
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to access the Control Center.
- Tap the gray Record button
, then wait for the three-second countdown.
- Exit Control Center to record your screen.
- To stop recording, tap the Screen Recording button
at the top of your screen, then tap the Stop button
. Or open Control Center and tap the red Record button
.
- To find your recording, open the Photos app and select your screen recording in your Library.
If you cannot find the Screen Recording button, you'll need to customize your Control Center to add this button. Please visit this article from Apple Support and select your iOS version from the drop down menu at the top for instructions on how to do this for your device.
📱 Android
- Open the Quick Settings panel by swiping down twice from the top of the screen.
- Tap Screen record, and then tap Start.
- If the icon isn't there, tap "Edit" or the pencil icon to add it to your panel.
- To stop, swipe down again and tap the notification to stop the recording.
- The video will be saved to your gallery or the Photos app.
If your phone doesn't have a built-in screen recorder, you can download a third-party app from the Google Play Store.
💻 Window
- Using the Xbox Game Bar
- Press the Windows key + G to open the Xbox Game Bar.
- Click the Record button (a circle icon) or press Windows + Alt + R to start recording the currently active application.
To stop, click the Stop button or press Windows + Alt + R again.
Your recording will be saved to the Captures folder, which you can access through the Game Bar or by going to Videos > Captures in File Explorer.
Using the Snipping Tool
Press the Windows key + Shift + R to open the Snipping Tool in video mode.
Click New, then drag your cursor to select the area of the screen you want to record.
Click the Start button (the circle icon) to begin recording.
Click the Stop button (the square icon) when you are finished.
The recording will open in the Snipping Tool window for you to preview or save.

💻 Mac
Press Shift + Command + 5 to open the Screenshot toolbar
Select "Record Entire Screen" or "Record Selected Portion from the toolbar
Adjust your options, and click "Record"
To stop, click the stop button in the menu bar or press Command + Control + Esc
Recording will save to your desktop by default.
