What is Poker Fighter?

Poker Fighter is a strategic card game where players draw and place cards into three distinct poker hand columns. The goal is to stack high-scoring hands while destroying (smashing) rival cards to outscore your opponent before the deck or board runs out.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

1. The "Smash" Mechanic

  • When you play a card to one of your three hands, it destroys every Rival card of the same rank in that facing poker hand column.

  • In VS Rival your opponent's plays affect your hands the same way. In Blitz, the Rival never smashes back.

2. Risk Pips (VS Rival Mode)

  • Each pip on a card indicates a card of that rank remaining in the opposite deck.

  • More pips = Higher risk of that card being destroyed by an opposing play.

Scoring System

Calculated by taking the sum of the card values in a column and multiplying that total by the multiplier assigned to the completed hand type.

Card Values

  • Numeric Cards (2–10): Face value

  • Jack (J): 11

  • Queen (Q): 12

  • King (K): 13

  • Ace (A): 14

Hand Multipliers

Hand TypeMultiplierNotes
Pair×2Two cards of the same rank
Flush×3Same suit
Straight×4Sequential ranks (A-2-3 counts as a straight; Ace scores 14)
Three of a Kind×6Three cards of the same rank
Straight Flush×12Sequential ranks in the same suit

Game Modes

Mode 1: VS Rival

  • Turn Structure: You and your Rival take turns drawing one card from your deck and playing that card into one of your three poker hands.

  • Winning Condition: The round ends when a board fills or a deck runs out. The player with the higher overall score takes the pot. Ties push your bet back.

  • Difficulty Modes:

    • Casual & Pro: Shows Rival strategy scores per column before each card placement (tap to open a detailed breakdown and history). Features live Coaching (thumbs-up indicator for strong plays).

    • Master: Built to challenge the best players; Best Move Hints and Rival Strategy features are disabled.

  • Payout Structure:

Payout multipliers scale based on difficulty level and point margin:

    LevelMarginCasual PayoutPro PayoutMaster Payout
    LV 0Win1.38× – 2.07×1.52× – 2.28×1.66× – 2.49×
    LV 140+ (Casual) / 50+ (Pro/Master)1.48× – 2.22×1.66× – 2.49×1.85× – 2.77×
    LV 280+ (Casual) / 100+ (Pro/Master)1.59× – 2.38×1.80× – 2.70×2.03× – 3.04×
    MAX135+ (Casual) / 150+ (Pro/Master)1.87× – 4.23×2.58× – 5.30×2.77× – 5.58×

Mode 2: Blitz

  • Overview: In Blitz, the Rival's board is pre-dealt and remains fixed throughout the entire round. You place your 9 cards, smash the Rival's cards, and aim to end up with the highest score to win.

  • Handicap: Because the Rival cannot smash back in Blitz mode, it automatically starts 45 points ahead to keep the game fair.

  • Payout Structure:

The higher your point lead over the Rival, the greater your payout multiplier:

    LevelMarginBlitz Payout Multiplier
    LV 0Win1.56× – 2.34×
    LV 139+ points ahead1.64× – 2.46×
    LV 291+ points ahead1.74× – 2.61×
    MAX151+ points ahead1.93× – 4.32×

Special Features & Single-Player Bonuses

  1. Rally Bonus:

    • When you lose in single-player modes, your rally meter charges up. Once full, your next victory collects a rally bonus prize!

  2. Golden Card:

    • Any card in your deck can spawn as a Golden Card. If it remains on your board when you win, your entire payout receives a ×1.5 multiplier.

  3. Overkill Jackpot:

    • Every bet adds 1% to the progressive Jackpot pool. Land a massive single-play swing (crushing a big Rival hand, completing a huge hand, or both) to trigger OVERKILL and win a share of the pool instantly. Your share scales with your bet against the maximum bet.

Provably Fair & Verification

  • Before you bet, all cards in both decks are locked in using certified fair randomness and stamped with an encrypted hash code.

  • When the round ends, the full code is revealed. Select VERIFY at the end of a round or inspect past games via the History panel to confirm card order integrity.
